Greetings Family!

On behalf of the United Martin Family of Pittsburgh, it is my honor to welcome you with love to the 49th United Martin Family Reunion in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This will be the 7th Reunion hosted by Pittsburgh, and we are all very excited to welcome you back to the Burgh! Pittsburgh has so much to offer and so many new things to see. We are working hard to make this one our best reunions yet. We are back in Downtown, Pittsburgh for 2017. The Westin Convention Center Hotel has offered us very competitive room rates. Our room block extends from the 6th through the 10th of July, so you can come early or stay late. And as always, it’s just a short walk to the nearby dock for our private charter Boat Ride reception.

While we want to introduce new activities, we also want to keep some of the perennial favorites, all while allowing options to respect the economics of these times. To this end we not only provide optional activities throughout the Main Event, but we have added an Optional Pre-Reunion Activity Day. So save the dates for the Main Event, July 7-9, 2017. And if you can, join us early on July 6, 2017 for some additional fun filled activities and family fellowship. If you are young or seasoned, bringing a family or traveling alone, and whether your thing is fitness or entertainment, sightseeing or history, meeting new cousins or reconnecting with those you know, we promise there will be something for you.

Please peruse our new Pittsburgh website. Here you will find all of the details regarding registration, activities, souvenirs, and the vendor showcase. Please register early and adhere to all deadlines so we can better provide for everyone. We are embracing the use of technology to help keep costs down, but we want to include everyone. So, if you know of someone who does not have access, please print the pertinent information and share with them.

We are all so fortunate to be Martin family descendants and be heirs to such a great legacy. We should be filled with pride regarding the family we are today and filled with hope for our family’s future which holds so much promise. Your Pittsburgh cousins are hoping to welcome you in great number as we celebrate our 49th gathering and fulfill our theme which is simply “Got Family!”
